" We got the chance to discuss what particular areas we were having problems with and what did Alex suggest we do to address them. Although the suggested solution seemed obvious to me once explained, it was only then that I realised he had told me the same thing a couple of years ago and I had just forgotten it. My point being that the lessons are not necessarily just a vehicle to teach you something new, it is also great for reminding you of what you should be doing and getting you back on track. I was very gratified to hit some of my regular bad shots in front of Alex just to prove that I did have problems because as so often happens, they do not occur in front of the watchful eye of the Coach!! The lesson has definitely given me renewed enthusiasm and has taught me that you have to be positive about the game otherwise subconsciously you can imagine yourself into all sorts of trouble, oh and one final thing- practice, practice!"

"Hi Alex. We're really enjoying our golf lessons with you since we started as complete beginners last week. We like the fact that you explain everything so clearly and you also don't mind if we ask you to show us again or tell us what we're doing wrong. When mum asked us how we were getting on with you, we told her that you're good fun and really cool!
